Adobe Backyard Dinner Party with Alicia McCarthy
The Adobe Books Backroom Gallery invites you to celebrate summer and support our arts programming with our 2nd Annual Backyard Dinner Party with artist Alicia McCarthy.
For the event Alicia has hand glazed and drawn and edition of 100 dinner plates exclusively for dinner party guests. Each plate is unique work of art, signed by the artist. Plates will be on view at the Adobe Books Backroom Gallery from June 1 – July.
This special dinner to honor the artist is at the home of Janet Bishop, SFMOMA Curator of Painting and Sculpture, and Thad Povey, local artist and filmmaker. Their home is steps from the bookstore, with a beautiful backyard and collection of art by local artists.
Plates will be available for pick-up at a reception in the gallery between 4-5:30 pm (prior to the dinner).
