Anonymously Altered Opens December 5th!
Adobe Books Backroom Gallery is selling artistically altered books for our holiday fundraiser! Over 120 generous artists from the Bay Area have cut, glued, painted, drilled, and otherwise morphed books from Adobe into remarkable works of art. And now they can be yours! A unique gift for a friend or a present for yourself. Only $50 for a one of a kind work of art! Come by the store starting Thursday, December 5th through the end of December and pick one out for yourself. After purchase, you’ll get a card with the artist’s name and title of the artwork.
Coinciding with the opening for our current gallery show, The Ant and The Mushroom: A Parable, we will also have a reception on December 5th from 6-9pm for the Anonymously Altered books and the big reveal of our new flat file program. Come enjoy the exhibition, have a drink, and have first pick of the full selection of Altered Books!
